Chester Music Society is a community-based organisation that has promoted and performed live classical music in Chester since 1946. We present more than 20 musical events in the City over the year, and people can both come and hear as well as participate in our concerts.

Graham Jordan Ellis - Choir Musical Director
Our Celebrity Concerts in St Mary's Centre present a season of chamber concerts by both established and rising professional musicians. The Club, also in St Mary's Centre, has a season of concerts by local amateur artists, particularly to encourage young musicians. Our 170 strong Choir of mixed adult voices sings major choral works in the Cathedral and the Youth Section consists of 3 choirs that perform 3 times a year in Wesley Methodist Church / All Saints Church, Hoole.
