With over 11 venues confirmed for Theatre in the Quarter's forthcoming production of Silent Night, there's no reason for audiences to miss out. The Companies first ever touring show will be performed in churches, schools, theatres and halls across Chester and Cheshire between Friday 28th November and Sunday 14th December.
"This is our most ambitious project yet! The production has been 2 years in the planning and will be our first ever touring show. We have teamed up with Cheshire's Rural Touring Network as well as Chester Performs to make this project happen." Matt Baker, Director, Theatre in the Quarter.

The Silent Night tour kicks off on Friday 28th November at St. Thomas of Canterbury Church in Chester. The production will go on to be part of the Blacon Christmas Festival on Monday 1st December before touring to a variety of venues across the county. Other Chester dates include Bishops' High School on Tuesday 2nd December and the Forum Studio Theatre on Wednesday 9th and Thursday 10th December. The company will also make an appearance at the Garden Lane lights switch-on on Saturday 6th and a special, Christmas in the Trenches evening at the Albion Inn on Friday 5th December. It will also be performing at the Hammond School and Action Transport Theatre Company.
Silent Night is a new play, written by Helen Newall, to commemorate the 90th anniversary of the end of the Great War. This original and moving musical tells of the amazing events surrounding the Christmas Truce in the trenches. Brought to you by Theatre in the Quarter, Chester's leading professional theatre company.
Directed by Russ Tunney with original music by Matt Baker Silent Night will be performed by four professional actors Jay McWinen, Paul Dabek, Elizabeth Bassham and Thomas Latham.
