Knutsford Literature Festival

**Part of the Elizabeth Gaskell Bi-Centenary 2010**

Knutsford Literature Festival was launched in October 2000 as a millennium event. It was an instant success and is now staged every October during the first 2 or 3 weeks. It continues to attract large numbers to its varied programme, and is well supported by its Friends,  (who get priority booking). Talks and events are held in various venues around the town.
