Let the page meet the stage in celebrations of music and literature, with talks, book signings, workshops and much more at the Shell Chester Literature Festival.

This event makes the most of Chester's myriad of small personable venues and spaces, a range of short, colourful and thought provoking events will be presented throughout the city of Chester, mainly within the city walls. 

The Festival has had much success in recent years in attracting stars of the literary scene and this year we will add to our roll call of events with an engaging look at writing and literature within the unique context of a major performance poetry, drama and storytelling long weekend sitting at the heart of the festival.
