2011 Raft Race theme: THE GOOD, THE BAD and THE DOWNRIGHT UGLY!

A day of fun, lots of laughs and raising money for charity on the River Dee! Competitors from far and wide bring their floating (or not so floating) vessels to the bank and race one another for pride of first place in this thrilling raft race arranged by the Rotary Club, Chester.

The beneficiary charity this year is The Hospice of the Good Shepherd and other local charities. Last year the Rotary Club raised £5K for Help For Heroes and more for other local charities, this year they are keen to raise even more!

So whether you're keen to enter the raft race, or simply want to come down to the bank and cheer everyone on... put Sun 3rd July in your diary because this fun-filled, family friendly day is not to be missed!
